These Terms apply to all services, treatments, memberships, products, bookings, gift vouchers, promotions, and use of the Melton Skin Clinic website and any associated booking systems (“Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By using the Melton Skin Clinic website, online booking system, SMS/email communications, payment links, and any related platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We may update these Terms by publishing an updated version on our website. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2 About Melton Skin Clinic
Melton Skin Clinic is a dermal clinic located in Kurunjang, Victoria, providing cosmetic dermal treatments and medical-grade skincare. Information provided through our Services is general in nature and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
3 Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to book treatments through our Services, unless a parent/guardian provides written consent and attends where required.
You confirm that the information you provide to us is accurate, current, and complete.
4 Online Accounts & Security
If you create an account through any platform we use (including booking systems), you agree to:
- Keep your login details secure
- Ensure the information you provide is accurate and updated
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access
We may suspend or terminate accounts or restrict bookings if we reasonably believe there has been misuse, fraudulent activity, or repeated policy breaches.
5 Health Information & Clinical Disclaimer
5.1 No medical advice
Melton Skin Clinic and its staff do not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or medical advice. Our consultations, treatments, and skincare recommendations are cosmetic and educational.
Nothing on our website, social media, emails, SMS, or within our clinic should be taken as medical advice or a substitute for consulting a qualified medical professional.
5.2 Suitability and disclosure
Treatment suitability can only be determined through consultation and assessment. You agree to disclose accurate and complete information including:
- Medical history and current conditions
- Medications and supplements
- Allergies and sensitivities
- Pregnancy/breastfeeding status
- Recent procedures (cosmetic, dental, medical)
- Active skin conditions, infections, or outbreaks
If you fail to disclose relevant information, you accept responsibility for outcomes and Melton Skin Clinic is not liable to the extent permitted by law.
5.3 Our right to refuse or modify treatment

6 Appointment Bookings, Deposits & Confirmations
Bookings made through our Services are subject to availability.
Deposits
- A deposit may be required to secure your appointment
- Deposit amount and terms will be displayed during booking or advised at the time of booking
- Deposits are applied to the total cost of the appointment
Pre-appointment forms and reminders
- You may receive a consultation form via SMS and/or email prior to your appointment
- You may receive appointment reminders (including the day before)
Injectable appointments (visiting practitioner)
Injectable appointments may have separate deposit, cancellation, consent, prescribing (if applicable), and aftercare policies which will be provided at the time of booking.
7 Cancellations, Late Arrivals & No-shows
We operate strict booking policies to protect appointment availability.
Cancellations and changes
- We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule (unless otherwise stated at the time of booking)
- Cancellations within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of your deposit
- Repeated late cancellations may result in booking restrictions or prepayment requirements
Late arrivals
- Notify us as soon as possible if you are running late
- We will attempt to accommodate where possible
- If you arrive more than 50% into the allocated appointment time, we may be unable to complete the service
- Your appointment may be shortened, modified, or deemed a no-show and full fees may apply
No-shows
- Forfeiture of the deposit
- Possible booking restrictions
- Possible requirement for prepayment for future appointments
8 Pricing & Payments
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and may change without notice.
Payments for treatments, deposits, products, memberships, or gift vouchers may be processed via third-party payment providers. Melton Skin Clinic is not responsible for errors or delays caused by third-party providers.
9 Results & Expectations
Results vary and are not guaranteed. Outcomes depend on factors including:
- Skin type, concern, and baseline condition
- Medical history and medications
- Lifestyle factors (sun exposure, diet, stress, smoking, etc.)
- Consistency with treatment schedule
- Compliance with recommended home care
By proceeding with services, you acknowledge and accept that results are individual and not guaranteed.
10 Products, Returns & Refunds
10.1 Treatments (services)
We do not offer refunds for completed treatments. Deposits are handled according to our cancellation policy.
10.2 Products
- We do not accept returns or exchanges for opened or used products
- Change-of-mind refunds are not offered on skincare products
10.3 Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items
- Contact us within 7 days of purchase/delivery
- We will assess and provide a remedy as required under ACL (repair, replacement, or refund)
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11 Memberships & Payment Plans (Membership Policies)
Where offered, memberships/payment plans are subject to the terms presented at enrolment and the policies below.
Membership structure & purpose
Memberships are clinician-guided skin plans, not casual treatment bundles or prepaid services.
Minimum term & commitment
- Memberships have a minimum commitment term (typically 6 months, unless otherwise stated)
- Memberships commence on the date of the first successful payment
- Membership pricing is locked for the minimum term (unless required by law)
- Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable
Payments & billing
- Membership fees are billed weekly via automated direct debit
- Benefits apply only while payments are current
- Failed payments must be resolved within 7 days
- If payments are overdue, treatments/benefits may be suspended
Treatment delivery & scheduling
- Treatment selection, frequency, and modality are clinician-directed based on skin response and safety
- Treatments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability
- Unused inclusions do not roll over beyond the membership term and are forfeited if not attended
Bookings, cancellations & no-shows (members)
- Membership clients are subject to the same cancellation and no-show policies
- Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of that treatment/inclusion
- Repeated breaches may lead to restricted booking access or membership review/termination
Pause policy
- Memberships may be paused once only during the minimum term, subject to approval
- Maximum pause: up to 4 weeks
- During a pause, no treatments, inclusions, or discounts apply
Early termination
If a membership is cancelled before completion of the minimum term, treatments received may be recalculated at full casual pricing and any outstanding balance becomes payable immediately. Membership benefits cease upon cancellation.
Skincare discounts
- Discounts apply only while membership is active and payments are current
- Discounts cannot be combined with promotions unless stated
Treatment suitability
Inclusions may be deferred or substituted where clinically unsafe or contraindicated.
12 Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers can be used towards full-priced services unless stated otherwise
- Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash
- Vouchers cannot be used for skincare unless specifically stated
- Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with discounted new client offers unless stated
- Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced
Voucher expiry and conditions will be displayed at purchase.
13 Promotions, Vouchers & Referrals
Promotions and vouchers
- Promotional offers are valid for the stated period only
- Vouchers must be presented at checkout
- Offers cannot be combined unless stated
- Promotional vouchers may exclude already discounted offers and skincare
Referral credits
- The referred person must be a genuine new client
- Credits apply only after the new client completes a qualifying service
- Credits are not redeemable for cash
- Credits may exclude skincare and may not be combined with certain offers (as stated)
We reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotions at any time.
14 Visiting Practitioners, Contractors & Staff
Some services may be delivered by staff, contractors, or visiting practitioners operating within Melton Skin Clinic (including cosmetic injectors).
Where a service is performed by a visiting or independent practitioner, you acknowledge that the practitioner is responsible for that clinical service, including assessment, consent, treatment decisions, and aftercare.
Melton Skin Clinic may assist with bookings and general enquiries, however clinical questions, outcomes, and aftercare relating to that service must be directed to the treating practitioner.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
15 Third-party Services & System Availability
Our Services may integrate with third-party providers (booking platforms, SMS/email systems, payment processors, Shopify, etc.). We are not responsible for outages, delays, booking errors, payment processing errors, or external downtime caused by third parties to the extent permitted by law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of our Services.
16 User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misuse or interfere with our Services
- Attempt to access data/accounts not belonging to you
- Make fraudulent bookings or provide false information
- Post or send harmful, abusive, or unlawful content
We may refuse service or restrict access if we reasonably believe your conduct breaches these Terms.
17 Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, text, graphics, and materials are owned by Melton Skin Clinic (or licensed to us). You may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any material without written consent.
18 User Generated Content (Social Media)
If you tag Melton Skin Clinic, message us content, or provide content directly (photos/videos/reviews), you grant Melton Skin Clinic permission to use, edit, publish, and display that content for marketing and business purposes.
You may request removal by contacting us in writing, and we will act within a reasonable time.
19 Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service relevant to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
- We are not liable for outcomes caused or contributed to by information you provide, or fail to provide
- We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (including third-party system outages)
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Melton Skin Clinic is committed to protecting your privacy and managing personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect

- Phone number, email, address
- Booking history and consultation information
- Treatment records and preferences
- Payment and transaction details (processed securely through third parties)
- Health-related information relevant to treatment suitability (sensitive information)

- Provide services and treatments

Sensitive information
Health information is used only for treatment planning/service delivery, with your consent, or where required/authorised by law.
Disclosure
We may disclose personal information to booking/practice software providers, payment processors, email/SMS providers, delivery partners, and professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
Security & retention
We store information securely and take reasonable steps to protect it. Where required for clinical records, we retain records for a minimum period consistent with legal/professional obligations (commonly 7 years).
Access & correction
You may request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us in writing. We may request identification.
Marketing opt-out
You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link (where applicable) or contacting us.
Privacy complaints
